I was a question forming slow and deep
Also the mountain and the thread from your sleeve
I was a starling caught in murmerration
A shimmering ribbon trailing in your sky
You were an open eye on the horizon
Also the light that covers everything
You were an ocean bearing all the sorrow
Drowning a memory with every tide
I am wondering where you go
Can I follow?
I am wavering, scared to know
Does every shape have a shadow?
There is a sea cave you hide yourself inside
There among shorebirds buried all my life
I was a child caught in this creation
Finding a way to be simple and wise
I don't remember how I found out about this band, but this was their first album I listened to (while I was living alone far away from my birth country). Its concept, artwork, music, lyrics, story.. fit magically perfectly into a synesthetic mood. It makes me think about a bright version of the videogame Braid. I would listen almost every night during my first month away from home and feel cuddled and loved to the point of bringing tears to my eyes. I can't describe how much I love this album Ale MG
so this is one of the weaker orr-albums. i have all the others so there was no way to let this one slide. listen to the others ones. listen to the magic. viccaspak
